The Annual Meeting of Metropolitan Grand Lodge has been fully combined with the SLGR Investiture and is an afternoon/evening-only meeting. Non-Masonic guests including ladies, partners, family and friends are most welcome and encouraged to attend, as are Entered Apprentices and Fellow Crafts.
Freemasons (Master Masons and above not otherwise involved in the meeting – guests of investees etc.)
- Enter via the Tower Entrance.
- Present the e-ticket you will receive by email once you submit this form for scanning (please have it ready).
- Change into your masonic clothing in the Tower Cloakroom.
- Deposit your coat etc. at the counter.
- Make your way up the stairs to the vestibules.
- Collect a copy of the Order of Procedure booklet.
- Enter the Grand Temple and make your way to the seat to which you are directed.
- After the meeting if you have booked the dinner make your way to Grand Connaught Rooms next door for the drinks reception.
2025 Metropolitan Grand Officers (except MetAGInsps)
- Enter via the Tower Entrance.
- Present the e-ticket that you will receive by email once you submit this form, for scanning (please have it ready).
- Make your way up the stairs to the Grand Officers Robing Room at the end of the processional corridor.
- Return regalia to the Metropolitan Grand Stewards.
- Change into your masonic clothing.
- Deposit your coat etc.
- Collect a copy of the Order of Procedure booklet.
- Await directions from Metropolitan Grand Director of Ceremonies.
- After the meeting if you have booked the dinner make your way to Grand Connaught Rooms next door for the drinks reception.
2025 Metropolitan Assistant Grand Inspectors
- Enter via the Tower Entrance.
- Present the e-ticket, that you will receive by email once you submit this form, for scanning (please have it ready).
- Make your way up the stairs to the Past Grand Officers Robing Room.
- Change into your masonic clothing.
- Deposit your coat etc.
- Collect a copy of the Order of Procedure booklet.
- Await directions from Metropolitan Grand Director of Ceremonies.
- After the meeting if you have booked the dinner make your way to Grand Connaught Rooms next door for the drinks reception.
2026 Metropolitan Grand Officers designate including MetAGInsps designate
- Enter via the Tower Entrance.
- Present the e-ticket, that you will receive by email once you submit this form, for scanning (please have it ready).
- Make sure you also have your copy of the summons which will be sent to you 2-3 weeks before.
- Make your way up the stairs to the Past Grand Officers Robing Room off the processional corridor.
- Draw your regalia from the Metropolitan Grand Stewards.
- Change into your masonic clothing.
- Deposit your coat etc.
- Collect a copy of the Order of Procedure booklet.
- Make your way into the Grand Temple and to your named seat on the North West bank of seating.
- If you have booked the dinner as soon as the meeting is closed make your way to Grand Connaught Rooms next door for the drinks reception.
SLGR investees
- Enter via the Tower Entrance.
- Present the e-ticket, that you will receive by email once you submit this form, for scanning (please have it ready).
- Make your way up the stairs to the Past Grand Officers Robing Room off the processional corridor.
- Change into the dress regalia of your new rank.
- Make sure you have your A6 ticket that your received by post in your pocket (you will need to present this to the Carousel Officer when you are taken to receive your appointment).
- Deposit your cloaks etc.
- Collect a copy of the Order of Procedure booklet.
- Make your way into the Grand Temple.
- Enter the Grand Temple and go to the block of seats on the South side of the temple; you will be directed to a seat.
- If you have booked the dinner as soon as the meeting is closed make your way to Grand Connaught Rooms next door for the drinks reception.
Fellow Crafts, Entered Apprentices and non-Masonic guests
- Enter via the main administrative entrance.
- Follow the directions of the Stewards to Temple 10 on the second floor of the building to arrive by 16:30.
- Temple 10 will act your cloak room for the duration of the day.
- Present the e-ticket, that you will receive by email once you submit this form, for scanning (please have it ready).
- Collect a copy of the Order of Procedure booklet.
- Attend a short talk about Freemasonry presented by one of our senior members until about 17:00.
- When directed you will be led into the balcony seating of the Grand Temple.
- If you have booked the dinner as soon as the meeting is closed make your way, using the lifts, to Grand Connaught Rooms next door for the drinks reception.
